Belmont-----Linda R. Webber, 60, of 51 Silkwood Avenue, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Tuesday, January 27, 2004.
Mrs. Webber was born June 4, 1943 in Waltham, MA, the daughter of Joseph & Irene (Bennett) Callaluca.
Mrs. Webber moved to the Lakes Region in 1965. She was a member and Deaconess of the South Baptist Church, Laconia and was a member of the Board of Christian Education for the Church..
Mrs. Webber was a teacher and principal of the Faith Christian Academy, Belmont, NH for twenty-three years. She gave of herself to her friends and family and was generous in all she did and said.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-nine years, George E. Webber of Belmont, NH; two daughters, Susan Mele, of Belmont, NH and Rebecca Gagne and her husband, Michael, of Nashua, NH; two stepsons, Gary Webber and his wife, Carolyn, of Westford, MA and Gene Webber and his wife, Dottie, of New Ipswich, NH; five grandchildren, Crystal Messer, Megan Messer, and Brett Mele all of Belmont, NH and Kristen Gagne and Shailah Gagne both of Nashua, NH; five step grandchildren, JoAnna Webber and Sara Webber both of Westford, MA and Matthew Webber, Ryan Webber and Kyle Webber all of New Ipswich, NH: four brothers, Fred Beltzer of Mississippi, Steven Beltzer of Massachusetts, Joseph Callaluca of New Hampshire and Peter Callaluca of Massachusetts; two sisters, Cindy Baker of Georgia and Phyllis Baker of Massachusetts and many nephews and nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 30, 2004 from 7:00-9:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 10:00AM at the South Baptist Church, 85 Court Street, Laconia, NH. Burial will follow at 3:30PM in the family lot in Groton Cemetery, Groton, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Faith Christian Academy, 87 Horne Road, Belmont, NH 03220.
