Leo A. Gagnon

Laconia----Leo A. Gagnon, 66, of 57 Union Ave. and South Korea, died at the Young Nam University Medical Center, Taegue, South Korea, January 26, 2004.

Mr. Gagnon was born September 12, 1937 in Laconia the son of Henry J. and Salamee (Provencal) Gagnon. He graduated from Laconia High School and his nick name was „Mighty Mouse‰.

Mr. Gagnon served 21 years in the US Air Force retiring in 1979 as a Master Sergeant. After he retired he lived in South Korea for 20 years before moving back and lived in Laconia and South Korea since 1998.

He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Laconia.

Survivors include his wife Cho Ok Suk of South Korea; 2 daughters Leena Marie Gagnon of Laconia and Dina Marie; 3 sons Leo A. Gagnon, Jr., James Gagnon and Christopher Gagnon; several grandchildren; 2 brothers Adrian Gagnon and Arthur Gagnon both of Laconia; 4 sisters Leona Daigneau of Laconia, Eva Stendor of Meredith, Rita Pevine of Franklin and Dora Stevens of Lakeport; many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother Leonel Gagnon and a sister Mary Ann Vandine.

Calling hours will be held Monday February 2, 2004 from 7-9 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia using the Carriage House entrance of the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, Laconia, Tuesday February 3, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Spring burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc. PO Box 2680 North Canton, Ohio 44720.
