Meredith, NH----Mrs. Elizabeth J. James, 91, of 153 Parade Road, died at the Franklin Regional Hospital, Franklin on Thursday, January 15, 2004. She was the widow of John H. James.
Mrs. James was born July 20, 1912 in Hull, Quebec, the daughter of Steven and Elizabeth (Pechar) Jensy. She lived in Cleveland Heights, Ohio for many years where she was an administrative assistant in the school system for fifteen years. In September, 2000 she moved to Meredith, NH.
Mrs. James was active with senior groups, was an avid dancer and loved Scottish dancing.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas, of California and John of Ohio; a daughter, "Bonnie" Dearborn of Meredith, NH; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Albert White.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, NH Chapter, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 427B, Concord, NH 03301; or to one's own favorite charity.
