Laconia-----Marilyn V. Graves, 77, of 29 Morningside Drive, died at Lakes Region General Hospital on Friday, January 28, 2005.
Mrs. Graves was born April 29, 1927 in Bradford, Massachusetts, the daughter of Howard H. and Blanche (Millard) Curry. She was raised in Massachusetts and graduated from Haverhill High School in 1945 and from Boston University in 1949. She was employed at Liberty Mutual Insurance for forty years. In 1981, she married Chad Graves and in 1992 they moved to Laconia, NH.
Mrs. Graves was a member of the Laconia Congregational Church. She enjoyed gardening and volunteered her time assisting the elderly with their income taxes.
Survivors include her husband, Chad Graves, of Laconia; three stepsons, Chadbourne K. Graves of Ipswich, MA; Frederic Dalrymple of Knoxville, Iowa and William Dalrymple of Niantic, CT; a step daughter, Catherine H. Seaman, of Tewksbury, MA; ten grandchildren; a brother, Howard Millard Curry of Springfield, Ohio and one nephew and one niece. She was predeceased by her first husband, Frederic Dalrymple and by a step son, Richard Dalrymple.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Congregational Church, 18 Veterans Square, Laconia, NH. The date and time will be announced at a later date.
A Graveside service will be held in the Spring at the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
