Laconia----Thomas Kenney, 74, formerly of Laconia died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Friday December 30, 2005. He had been a resident of The New Hampshire Veterans Home, Tilton for the past 4 years.
Mr. Kenney was born September 2, 1931 in Boston, MA the son of Francis and Carrie (Foster) Kenney. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had lived most of his life in Boston and had been employed at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston for many years.
Mr. Kenney was a member of the Laconia VFW Post 1670. He loved to watch Westerns on TV.
Survivors include his wife Catherine Kenney of Whitehall, NY; 3 sons James Kenney of VT., Paul Kenney of Ticonderoga, N.Y. and Frank Kenney of Whitehall, N.Y.; 3 daughters Mary Valentine of Boston, MA, Sandra Gurley of Whitehall, N.Y. and Deborah Nassar of Framingham, MA; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Claire and Louise; several nephews and nieces. Beside his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Donna Kenney.

A funeral service will be held Friday January 6, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Rt. 3 in Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Veterans Home 139 Winter Street, Tilton, NH 03276.
