Gilford-----Elizabeth T. Waitman, 97, of 81 Harris Shore Road, died at the St. Francis Home, Laconia, on Friday, January 6, 2006.
Mrs. Waitman was born September 16, 1908 in Boston, MA, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Fitzgerald) O’Keefe. She lived in Medford, MA for many years before moving to Gilford fifty years ago.
Mrs. Waitman was a communicant and active member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport and volunteered at the New To You Shop.
Survivors include two nephews and three nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Waitman and by a brother, Philip J. O’Keefe.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington St., Lakeport, NH by Rev. George Soberick, Pastor of the Church.
Burial will be held on Friday, January 13, 2006 at 11:00AM in the family lot in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Lakes Church, 50 Washington Street, Lakeport, NH 03246.
