Ashland-----Clifton R. Moody, 69, of 68 Depot St., died at the Speare Memorial Hospital, Plymouth on Saturday, January 20, 2007.

         Mr. Moody was born December 20, 1937 in Plymouth, NH, the son of Daniel and Grace (Philbrick) Moody. 

         Mr. Moody served in the U. S. Air Force.  He lived in Rumney for several years before moving to Ashland five years ago.  He was employed as an electrician at Plymouth State University for twenty years.

         Mr. Moody was a member of the World Wide Church of God, Loudon, NH.  He enjoyed fishing and gardening.

         Survivors include his wife, Carol (Puffer) Moody, of Ashland; a son, Michael Moody of San Jose, CA; three daughters, Nicole Beadle of Ashland, NH, Michelle Smith of Greenland, NH and Elise Moody of Ashland, NH; three grandchildren, Samantha Moody, Gunnar Moody and Gavin Moody; two sisters, Julia Downing of Plymouth, NH and Doris Pike of Concord, NH and many nephews and nieces.

         There will be no calling hours.

         A Memorial Service will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH on Saturday, January 27, 2006 at 11:00AM.  Rev. David Puffer, brother-in-law will officiate.

         In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 2 Wall Street, Manchester, NH 03101or to the American Lung Association, 9 Cedarwood Drive, Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110.
