Belmont-----Miranda Leigh Doubleday, 11, of 14 School Street, died at her home on Sunday, January 21, 2007.

Miranda was born October 31, 1995 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Robert and Amanda (Vachon) Doubleday. Miranda was a Fifth Grade student at Belmont Middle School. She loved her family, monkeys, butterflies and sports, especially volleyball and baseball. She also enjoyed arts and crafts. She was a member of the Belmont Girl Scouts.

Survivors include her mother, Amanda (Vachon) Doubleday, of Belmont; her father, Robert Doubleday, of Northfield, NH; two brothers, Joshua Doubleday and Ryan Vachon Sacrey, both of Belmont; her maternal grandmother, Theresa Vachon; several aunts and uncles, Joanna & Larry Drouin and Diana and Alan Gilbert, all of Belmont, NH, Rita & Roger Lamontagne of Alton, Stella and John Flack and Peter and Ricki Vachon all of Gilmanton, Paul & Susan Vachon and Bernadette Vachon all of Belmont, Susan Doubleday of Gilford, Bill Grant of Laconia, Stephanie Bacon of Gilford and Michael Doubleday of Connecticut and several cousins.

She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, John & Grace Doubleday, and by her maternal grandfather, Peter Vachon, Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 from 5:00-7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Parish, 96 Main Street, Belmont, NH on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at 10:00AM.

Spring burial will be held.
