Robert J. Young

Laconia-----Robert J. Young, 70, formerly of 380 Mile Hill Road, died at New Vista Nursing Home in Sunland CA, on January 18, 2010. He was the widower of Claudia J. (Rolland) Young.
Mr. Young was born November 11, 1939 in St. Petersburg, Florida, the son of Garvis and Betty Young.
Mr. Young served in the U. S. Air Force. He lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for 25 years before moving to Laconia in 1995. He had been employed in the steel industry for over twenty years.
Mr. Young attended the First Baptist Church in Concord.
Mr. Young is survived by two sons, Scott Young and Russell Young both of California; two daughters, Suzane Powell of Newhall, California and Jackie Huber of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a brother, Garvey Young and a sister, Darlene Young-Pearce.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
