Virginia M. Cappalini Belmont-----Virginia M. Cappalini, 56, of 338 Brown Hill Road, died at her home on Monday, January 19, 2009. Virginia was born March 11, 1952 in Boston, Mass., the daughter of Alice B. (Nicholson) and Frederick Powers. She was a graduate of Quincy (Mass.) High School. Virginia lived in Nashua for several years before moving to Belmont eight years ago. She was office manager at Acme Staple Co. in Franklin, NH. for the past five years. Virginia enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox and also enjoyed cribbage and gambling. Virginia is survived by two sons, Charlie W. Murphy of Tilton and Kenny P. Murphy of Manchester; a daughter, Kellie M. Berube, of Bow; two grandchildren, Alex and Andrew Berube; two brothers, Charles N. Bennett of Barnstead and Kenneth M. Smith of Concord; three sisters, Gloria J. King of Massillon, Ohio, Barbara E. Fowler also of Massillon, Ohio, and Debbie L. Paro of Epsom; two nieces; eight nephews; her companion of ten years, Dave Gureckis, of Belmont, N.H.; Dave’s son, Lang Gureckis, of Fort Drum, N. Y. and her dogs, Lemmy and Angel. Virginia was predeceased by her mother, Alice Smith, her stepfather, Kenneth Smith, and by two brothers, Stephen Bennett and James Smith. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 from 4:00-7:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. There will be no funeral service. Spring burial will be in the family lot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua, N.H. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, N.
