Laconia-----Gertrude Pedersen, 90, of 175 Blueberry Lane, died at Genesis Eldercare-Laconia Center on Friday, January 16, 2009. She was the widow of Gotfred Petersen.

Mrs. Pedersen was born September 7, 1918 in Warwick, Rhode Island, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Eddy) Quinn. She lived in White Plains, New York for many years before moving to Forest View Healthcare Center, in Meredith, N.H.in June, 2000. In October, 2003, she moved to Genesis Eldercare-Laconia Center.

Mrs. Pedersen was a member and Deaconess of the Lake Street Full Gospel Church of West Harrison, N.Y. She had been employed by the State of New York for many years.
Mrs. Pedersen is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth & Lindsey B. Anderson, of Moultonborough; two nephews, Lindsey C. Anderson of Moultonborough and Mark Q. Anderson of California.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial service will be held in the spring at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.
