Laconia-----Lynda Albertson, 62, of 91 Gilford Avenue, died at her home on Wednesday, July 9, 2003.
Lynda was born March 14, 1941 in Nashua, N. H. the daughter of Phyllis (Mudgett) Babcock and John C. Babcock, Jr.
Lynda lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming for a number of years before moving to Laconia, NH twenty years ago. She was a dispatcher for the New Hampshire State Police for 16 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Laconia Emblem Club, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Laconia Post No 1670 and the Civil Air Patrol in Laconia.
Survivors include a son, Barry Setser, of Maryland, a daughter, Susan Albertson, of Wyoming; four grandchildren, Arman Setser and Chayan Setser both of Maryland, Joseph Johnson of Georgia and Mark Albertson of Wyoming; a brother, John C. Babcock III, of Virginia Beach, VA and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her father, John C. Babcock, Jr. who died June 14, 2003 and by her mother, Phyllis Babcock, who died in 1997.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH at 1:00PM on Thursday, July 17, 2003. A Memorial Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 1:30 PM.
Burial will be held at a later date in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 No. Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
