Laconia----Bertha "Bea" Louise Hardy, 65, of 85 Sheridan Street, Lakeport, died at her home on Friday, July 11, 2003..
Mrs. Hardy was born June 28, 1938 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of
Greta (Giverson) & Willard R. Smith, Sr. She was a lifetime resident of Laconia and was employed at Laconia Shoe, Unico and Metz Electric, retiring in 2000 due to illness
Mrs. Hardy was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Hardy and his wife, Martha, and David Hardy and his wife, Lynn; three daughters, Donna Lamontagne and her husband, Jon, Tina Bolduc and her husband, Bill, and Louise Hardy and her significant other, Mark Foote; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Smith, Leonard Smith and Willard Smith, Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Runnals, Barbara McCleod, and Greta Hansen and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Smith.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2003 at 10:00AM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-9376.
