Belmont---------SGM,USA(Retired) Arlo C. Meyer, 63, of 46 Silkwood Avenue, died at his home on Thursday, July 17, 2003.
Mr. Meyer was born October 20, 1939 in Menomenie, Wisconsin, the son of Fred & Mattie (Jepson) Meyer.
Mr. Meyer was a Sergeant Major in the U. S. Army and served two tours in Viet Nam . He retired after twenty-six years in the military. After his retirement, he was employed at First Student Transportation in Belmont.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-seven years, Janice N. (Goss) Meyer of Laconia, NH; two sons, Morris Mercier of Martinsburg, W. Virginia and Robert Mercier of Franklin, NH; a daughter, Theresa Conrad of Belmont, NH; four grandchildren, Brianna Mercier, Roxianne Barnes, Michael Mercier and Joseph Conrad; a sister, Beverly Mullhollam of California; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Goss, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Kenneth Meyer.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2003 at 2:00 PM at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 N. Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
