Moultonboro, NH--John P. Nenning, 76, of 16 Hanson Drive, died at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH on Thursday, July 17, 2003.
Mr. Nenning was born in Bronx, New York on July 25, 1926 the son of Joseph & Rosa (Tschudin) Nenning. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in both war and peace time operations. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Lykes Line Shipping Company as a radio engineer officer. He lived the remainder of his life enjoying the comfort of the great State of New Hampshire on Lake Winnipesaukee, tending his property, drinking his beer and passing on his conservative ideals to his children.
Mr. Nenning is survived by his loving wife, Dolores (Rutishauser) Nenning of Moultonboro, NH; a daughter, Susan C. Appleby of Montreal, Canada; two grandchildren, Lee Appleby and David Appleby and his wife, Gabriella Appleby; two great grandchildren, Austin Justice and Lauren Liberty Appleby; a sister, Rose Fletcher, of New York; two brothers, Earnest Nenning of New York and Joseph Nenning of New Jersey; and several nephews and nieces.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
