Tilton-----Virginia H. Livingston, 83, of 991 Laconia Road, died at home on Monday, July 19, 2004 after a long illness.
Mrs. Livingston was born June 16, 1921, in Canton, Ohio, the daughter of Ella (Chukina) and John Suciu, Sr. where she resided and worked for many years. In Ohio, she was a gamewell operator for Timken Roller Bearing Co.; a private secretary for the Director of Nurses at Aultman Hospital and a private typist for the Trustees at the Hall Accounting Firm. After meeting, Jefferson J. Livingston, they were married in Florida and moved to Franklin, NH. Together they owned and operated a catering business called The Pixie Kitchen and for many years, The Blossom Shop, in Franklin. She also worked for Indian Head National Bank as a proof operator, a telephone attendant at Laconia Peoples Bank and a cashier at Gunstock Ski Area. Mrs. Livingston was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for over 50 years, a Past Worthy High Priestess of the Order of White Shrine, a member of the Enterprize Rebekah Lodge #46 and a member of the Sanbornton Historical Society. She was a past president of the Demolay Mother's Club, a member of the Lochmere Woman's Club until they disbanded, and a member of the Franklin Baptist Church where she was a former trustee.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis S. Livingston and his wife, Pamela, of Sanbornton, NH; Jeff A. Livingston and his wife, Margie, both of Canton, Ohio and Brett W. Livingston and his wife, Roberta, both of Tilton, NH; a daughter, Brynne K. Livingston, of Dover, NH; nine grandchildren, Shannon Livingston of Sanbornton, NH, Jammie Livingston and Ryann Livingston both of Laconia, NH, Shane Livingston of Dover, NH, Stacie Livingston of Laconia, NH, James Terwilligar, Anthony Terwilligar, Luke Flory, and Joshua Flory all of Tilton, NH; three great grandchildren, Philip Nichols of Sanbornton, NH, Mason Gatanti and Kainan Clark both of Laconia, NH and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Jefferson J. Livingston in October, 2000 and one great grandchild, Cade Bosivert, in April, 2000.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2004 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will follow the Calling Hours at 8:00PM also at the Funeral Home.
