Belmont ------David L. White, 73, of 71 Lamprey Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH on Friday, July 30, 2004. Mr. White was the widower of Isabelle (Stafford) White who died November 26, 2003.
Mr. White was born April 6, 1931 in Bethel, Vermont, the son of Albert and Edna (Proctor) White. He lived in Bennington, Vt. for several years before moving to Belmont, NH forty years ago. He was employed at the Lakes Region General Hospital. Mr. White enjoyed carpentry and gardening.
Survivors include three sons, Christopher A. White and Steven White both of Belmont, NH and Jamison D. White of Randolph, Vermont; two daughters, Peggy-Jo Shaw of Gilford, NH and Alane F. Newton of Belmont, NH; nine grandchildren, Chris White of Alton, NH, Tim White and Steve White both of Belmont, NH, Corey Shaw and Raime Shaw both of Gilford, NH and Hayley Shaw of Malden, MA, Kerry Anne Newton and Stephanie White both of Belmont, NH and Melanie White of California; two great grandchildren, Jordan Buckley of Canterbury and Jasmine Sallies of Meredith; a brother, Charles White, of New Jersey; three sisters, Carol Dewey of New York, Sally Decker of Florida and Ida Mae White of New York; and several nephews and nieces.
There will be no calling hours. A Private Funeral Service will be held at the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Interlakes Christmas Fund, PO Box 1516, Meredith, NH 03253.
