Penacook-----Richard A. Carrier, Sr., 47, of 51 Modena Drive died on Monday, July 4, 2005.

Mr. Carrier was born December 16, 1957 in Shreveport, Louisiana, the son of Arthur J. and Ethel M. (Rivers) Carrier.

Mr. Carrier lived in Franklin for several years. He served in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Frankfort, Germany. He was employed at Webster Valve for several years and was a plumber for Gouin Plumbing and Heating for five years. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Arthur J. & Marilyn Carrier of Newport, Vermont; two sons, Richard A. Carrier, Jr. and Alexander J. Carrier, both of Laconia; two daughters, Jennifer L. Goodwin of Penacook and Laura S. Carrier of Colorado; two grandchildren, Rebekah H. Hodgman and Kobe E. Goodwin, both of Penacook and five brothers, Eugene L. Carrier of Virginia, Michael Carrier of Massachusetts, Arthur J. Carrier of Virginia, Stephen F. Carrier of Belmont and Cedric C. Carrier of Manchester. He was predeceased by his mother, Ethel Carrier, in 1979.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 1:00PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
