Laconia-----Mary R. Boudreau, 87, formerly of 25 Union Avenue, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Monday, July 25, 2006. She had been a resident of Belknap County Nursing Home for the past 1 1⁄2 years.
Mrs. Boudreau was born January 22, 1919 in Franklin, NH, the daughter of Joseph and Regina Bergeron. She lived in Laconia for most of her life and was employed at the Laconia Needle Company and the Laconia Shoe Company. She was a member of the Laconia V. F. W. Post #1670 Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Arthur Boudreau of Lakeport; a daughter, Madeline Avery, of Meredith; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boudreau was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Lionel H. Boudreau, on April 22, 2206.
According to her wishes, calling hours and service will be private. Burial will be in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home Activities Fund 30 County Drive, Laconia NH 03246.
