Laconia-----Helen F. Long, 65, of 25 Union Avenue and formerly of Breton Road, Gilford, died at her home on Wednesday, July 19, 2006.
She was born January 22, 1941 in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of John A. and Helen F. (Cooper) Morin. She lived in Nashua for several years before moving to Laconia in 1984. She was formerly employed at the M & E Brush Factory in Laconia and at Annalee Dolls, Inc., Meredith.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Morrison, of Wentworth, NH and Sandra L. Sherman, of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren; a sister, Joanne I. Needham, of Wayland, MA; a half-brother, Kevin John Morin, of Wayland, MA and several nephews and nieces.
According to her wishes, there will be no calling hours.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday July 27, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte 101, Suite 501 Bedford NH 03110-5032.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
