Gilford-----Rita J. Clark, 81, of 9 Sargent Place, died at the Genesis Eldercare – Laconia Center on Wednesday, July 18, 2007.  Mrs. Clark was the widow of Richard G. Clark who died in 1983.

Mrs. Clark was born May 23, 1926 in Dover, N. H., the daughter of Joseph and Marguerite (Lauzier) Lachance. 

Mrs. Clark lived most of her life in Gilford.  She was employed as a nurse’s aide at the Taylor Home for several years.

Survivors include two sons, Dean Clark and his wife, Audris, of Gilford and David G. Clark of British Columbia, Canada; three grandchildren, Hilary Clark of New York City, Meredith Clark Meyer of Rocky Hill, Conn. and Emily Clark of Las Vegas, Nevada; three step grandchildren, David Delucca of Belmont and Adam Delucca and Erica Delucca, both of Gilford and four great grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H. on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at 1:00PM .

Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N. H. Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, N. H. 03247.
