Laconia-----Geraldine L. Haynes, 83, of 74 Grant Street died at Genesis Eldercare - Laconia Center on Tuesday, July 17, 2007.  She was the widow of Cameron J. Haynes who died November 7, 1993.

         Gerry was born February 3, 1924 in Laconia, the daughter of the late Earle V. and Arlene (Jones) Robertson.

         Gerry was a lifetime resident of Laconia.  She graduated from Laconia High School in 1941 and was a former secretary at the Laconia Building & Loan Association for many years.

         Gerry was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and was an avid quilter.

           Gerry was very DEAR to all who knew her:

                     R elentless friend.

 She leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy & Bill Lewis of Laconia and a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Lenora Haynes; granddaughters, Tracey Dawes of Belmont and Jessica Haynes of Colorado and grandson, Shane Haynes of Wyoming.  Gerry was predeceased by her loving husband, Cameron, and her parents Arline and Earle Robertson.

         There will be no calling hours.

         There will be a family graveside service at the family lot in Union Cemetery, Academy Street, Laconia, N.H. on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 10:00AM.
