Belmont----Mrs. Daisy D. Thompson, RN, 75, formerly of Plummer Hill Road, died at the Mt. Ridge Center Genesis Eldercare in Franklin, NH on Sunday, June 22, 2003.
Mrs. Thompson was born May 23, 1928 in Etna, NH, the daughter of Ernest and Isabelle (Clough) Dowse. She lived in the Lakes Region most of her life.
Mrs. Thompson graduated from the Laconia Hospital School of Nursing in 1951 and was a registered nurse at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia for several years.
Survivors include two sons, Randall S. Thompson, of Belmont, Dennis D. Thompson, of Gilford, NH; one daughter, Tammy A. Thompson, of Belmont; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Peter N. Thompson, in May 22, 1995.
According to Mrs. Thompson's wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia.
