Belmont, NH-----A calling hour for Mrs. Dora “Dolly” L. MacEslin, RN will be held from 10:00-11:00AM on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. A Memorial Service will follow the Calling Hour at 11:00AM also at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia, NH. Mrs. MacEslin, RN, 87, of 9 Oak Drive, died November 29, 2003. She was the widow of Charles H. MacEslin who died in 1994.
Mrs. MacEslin was born April 16, 1916 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Valere F. and Kilda M. (Fillion) Drouin.
Mrs. MacEslin is survived by two daughters, Bonnie MacEslin and Kathie Gregory ; one grandchild; three sisters, Joan Shaw of Belmont, NH, Edith Wilbraham of Mentor, Ohio and Patricia Hollinghead of Madison, Ohio; three brothers, Leo Drouin, John Drouin and Laurent Drouin all of Belmont, NH; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Jack Drouin and by two sisters, Alice Laurent and Rita Flack
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Drouin-MacEslin Scholarship established in July 1997 c/o Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation, PO Box 7312, Gilford, NH 03247-7312
