Laconia-----Barbara “Bobbi” Buttinger, 59, of 95 South Main Street, passed on Monday, June 6, 2005 after a sudden illness at the Lakes Region General Hospital. Bobbi was born October 16, 1945 in Laconia, NH, the first of seven children born to Dorothy and the late Fred Nachbaur of Gilford.
Bobbi was a life time resident of the Lakes Region and was employed by Roche Realty for seven years and worked for over twenty years at various real estate agencies in the region. In her earlier years, she worked at WLNH and her parents’ restaurant, The Arlberg Inn. She was passionate about her work and loved the real estate business. She loved to cook, ski, and travel. She was also partial to moose watching in northern New Hampshire and an avid Patriots fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Stacie Buttinger, of Laconia; her mother, Dorothy (Vermette) Nachbaur, of Gilford; a brother, Eric, of Gilford; a brother, Carl, of Laconia; a sister, Kristine, of Lynn, MA; a sister, Karen, of Manchester; a brother, Fred, of Citrus Heights, CA; a sister, Lisa, of Gilford and a nephew and two nieces. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a son, Tony, in 1984.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2005from 2:00-4:00PM and from 7:00-9:00 PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
There will be no Funeral Service.
