Canterbury-----Florence M. Lloyd, 96, of 44 Canterbury Shore Road, died at her home on Tuesday, June 14, 2005.
Mrs. Lloyd was born August 18, 1908 in Tewksbury, MA, the daughter of Marguerite and Joseph W. Shea. She lived in Weymouth, MA for many years before moving to Canterbury thirty years ago. She was manager of SS Kressgie for fifteen years, retiring in 1970.
Survivors a daughter, Florence M. Hawkins, of Canterbury; two sisters, Frances DiPietro of Medford, MA and Beatrice Schofield of Norwell, MA and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred Lloyd and by a son, Frederick Hitchcock, in 1981.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurses Association, PO Box 1797, Concord, NH 03301 or to the New Hampshire Humane Society, PO Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247.
