Laconia----A Graveside Service will be held at South Road Cemetery, Belmont on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 11:00AM for Rita M., Dunbar, 81, formerly of 639 Union Avenue who died at the Concord Hospital, Concord on Wednesday, March 15, 2006.
Following the service, a light luncheon will be held at Shang Hai Restaurant, 331 South Main Street, Laconia, NH.
Mrs. Dunbar was born February 26, 1925 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of William and Donna M. (Brace) Murphy. She was raised in Laconia and graduated from Laconia High School in 1943.
Mrs. Dunbar lived in Moodus, Connecticut for several years before returning to Laconia in 1950. She was employed at Scott & Williams for several years.
Survivors include two sons, Raleigh Dunbar of Barnstead and Tim Dunbar and his wife, Susan, of Saugus, MA; a daughter, Donna Lindberg, of Lowell, MA; five grandsons; a sister, Eileen Moulton, of Manchester; a brother, Durwood Woodman, of Ledyard, Ct. and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, C. Michael Blake, in 1993; by two brothers, Leo Murphy in 2005 and Thomas Murphy in 2002 and by a daughter-in-law, Donna Dunbar, in 2006.
