Belmont-----Phyllis E. Moores, 87, of 19 Circle Drive, died at Genesis Eldercare-Mt. Ridge, Franklin, NH. on Friday, May 25, 2007. She was the widow of Stanley T. Moores who died in 1987.
Mrs. Moores was born October 3, 1919 in Auburn, Maine, the daughter of Charles H. & Mela C. (Boucher) Rogers. She lived in Malden, Massachusetts for several years before moving to Belmont thirty-five years ago.
Mrs. Moores enjoyed anything that was collectable.
Survivors include a son, Gregory C. Peacock, of Belmont, New Hampshire; three stepsons, John S. Moores of North Carolina and Arthur J. Moores and Roger T. Moores, both of Massachusetts; a stepdaughter, Lois A. Wilson, of Massachusetts; three grandchildren, Phillip J. Howland, Scott R. Howland and Erick C. Howland, all of Massachusetts; many great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and several nephews and nieces and a close friend of the family, Debra Graves, of Augusta, Maine.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service will be held at Union Cemetery, Laconia on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte 101 Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110.
