Gilford, New Hampshire----- Dorothy E. Ferraro, 93, of 76 Scenic Drive,  and a former long time resident of Greenwich, Conn., died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, Friday May 25, 2007. She was the widow of Joseph A. Ferraro who died in 1984.

Mrs. Ferraro was born February 26, 1914 in Stratford, N.H., the daughter of Bert and Gertrude (Hapgood) Stinson.

Mrs. Ferraro lived in Riverside, Connecticut for many years before moving to Gilford in 2000.  For the past twenty-four years, she lived with her daughter and son-in-law.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ella and Theodore Lucas, of Gilford; 3 grandchildren, Cindy Vartuli, of Cos Cob, Connecticut., Ted Lucas, of Falls Church, Virginia and Stacy Gagne, of South Berwick, Maine; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; Kathryn Boudle of Georgia and Mattie Roberts of New Ipswich, NH and several nephews and nieces.

There are no calling hours.

A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lakes Church 50 Washington Street, Lakeport, NH on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. George Soberick, Pastor of the Church, will be the celebrant.
