Belmont-----Helen G. Ladd, 71, of Belmont died peacefully, after a brave battle with cancer, on June 9, 2009 at her home.

Mrs. Ladd was born in Concord, N.H. on March 31, 1938, the daughter of Richard W. and Violet (Chambers) Fagan.

Mrs. Ladd worked many years at Winconia, Inc. and Laconia Manufacturing as a stitcher. She enjoyed sewing projects, gardening and being with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Ladd was a member of the Laconia Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Mrs. Ladd was widowed by her husband, Wayne S. Ladd, in 199l. Her children include one daughter, Jodi Conrad of Laconia; two sons, Gary Ladd and his wife, Verlie, of Hooksett, N. H. and Jeffery Ladd and his wife Abigail, of Derry, N.H.; five grandchildren, Andrea, Aaron and Benjamin Verrill, Marissa Conrad and Travis Ladd; one great grandson, Noah BelFontaine; one sister, Sandra Toutaint, and her husband Roger, of Gilmanton and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Ladd was predeceased by her son, Rodney W. Ladd.

The family extends a special thanks to her many friends and family who helped in caring for her in her last days.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 35 Blueberry Lane, Laconia on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 1:00PM.

Burial will be in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford.
