Laconia-----Mrs. Alice Dorval, 86, died at her home on Tuesday, July 9, 2002. Mrs. Dorval was the widow of Roland "Pete" Dorval who died May 7, 1994.
Mrs. Dorval was born December 9, 1915 in Concord, NH, the daughter of Hermanagild and Blanche (Falardeau) Paquette.
Mrs. Dorval was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
Survivors include a son, Armand Dorval, of Bedford; two daughters, Lorraine Leroux of Kennebunk, ME and Donna Smith of Laconia; three grandchildren, Aaron Leroux of Maui, Hawaii, Amanda Gosselin of Biddeford, Maine and Hannah Smith of Laconia; two great grandchildren; a sister, Loretta Rogers, of Laconia; and many nephews and nieces.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 12, 2002 at 10:00AM at Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia. Rev. George Soberick will officiate.
Burial will be in the family lot in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia is in charge of the arrangements.
