Laconia---------Somphone Havonglasan, 62, of 137 Gilford Avenue, died at his home on Saturday, July 6, 2002.
Mr. Havonglasan was born January 19, 1940 in Laos. He moved to Laconia 19 1/2 years ago from Laos and became a U. S. Citizen March 12, 1990.
Mr. Havonglasan was a machine operator at Scotia for 19 1/2 years and retired in January, 2002.
Mr. Havonglasan was a member of The Congregational Church of Laconia.
Survivors include his wife, Phorn (Chanphoungeun ) Havonglasan of Laconia; three sons, Chanthasone Havonglasan of Laos, Virakone "Vinny" Havonglasan and Sengphet "Tony" Havonglasan both of Laconia; three daughters, Phetadorn "Penny" Lannan of Laconia, Vilathone Havonglasan of Laconia and Thepdavone Havonglasan of Laos; four grandchildren; a sister, Vonthong Havonglasan of Laos and three nieces and three nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, Phetsamone Havonglasan, in 1997.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 12, 2002 from 7-9PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A funeral service will be held at The Congregational Church, 18 Veterans Square, Laconia on Saturday, July 13, 2002 at 2:00 PM. The Rev. David A. Travers, Interim Senior Pastor of the Church, will officiate
Burial will be in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
