Laconia-----Miss Beatrice P Lane, 91, formerly of 97 Lincoln Street, died at the Congregate Living Center, 21 Ledges Drive, on Wednesday, July 17, 2002.
Miss Lane was born July 11, 1911 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Percival R. and Myra (Caverly) Lane. She was a lifetime resident of Laconia and worked for the New England Telephone Co. for 42 years, retiring in September of 1972.
Miss Lane was a member of the South Baptist Church in Laconia and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include several second cousins living in Maine.
There will be no calling hours.
A Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2002 at 1:30 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. Rev. Barry Armitage, pastor of the South Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, NH
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, Northern New England Chapter, 6 Chenell Drive, Suite 260, Concord, NH 03301.
