Marlboro, MA--------Mrs. Elizabeth Davenport, 91, of 40 Broadmeadow Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH on Friday, June 14, 2002. Mrs. Davenport was the widow of Roger W. Davenport who died January 21, 1984.
Mrs. Davenport was born September 22, 1910 in Marlboro, MA, the daughter of Frank H. and Emma A. (Alley) Craig.
Mrs. Davenport was a member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Southboro, MA. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Marlboro Country Club.
Survivors include a brother, Karl S. Craig of Southboro, MA and two sisters, Barbara Dumont of Southboro, MA and Dorothea Brown of Gilford, NH; and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Edward F. Craig, in 1999 and John A. Craig in 1983.
There will be no calling hours.
A Private Funeral Service will be held at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Marlboro, MA on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 15 Common Street, Southboro, MA 01772
