Gilford----John G. Faller, Jr., 76, of 607 Cherry Valley Road, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Tuesday, March 4, 2003.
Mr. Faller was born June 13, 1926 in Fairview, New Jersey, the son of Louise and John G. Faller, Sr.
Mr. Faller had been a resident of Gilford for 50 years and attended the Gilford Community Church. He was a truck driver for Willey's Express for thirty-eight years, retiring in 1988 and a member of the Teamsters Local 633. He loved building and fixing things.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Shirley F. (Colby) Faller of Gilford, NH; two sons, Eric Faller and his wife, Judith, of Northfield, NH and Brian Faller of Gilford, NH; three grandchildren, Marc Faller of St. Mary's, GA, Daniel Faller of Belmont, NH and Gregory Faller of Vilseck, Germany; and three great grandchildren, Jazmine Faller and Amber Faller both of Belmont, NH and Tekoa Faller of St. Mary's, Georgia; and five nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 7, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH, using the Whipple Avenue Entrance.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2003 at 11:00AM at the Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Graham, Pastor of the Gilford Community Church, will officiate.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery, Gilford, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Health & Hospice, Inc., 780 North Main Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
