Laconia-----Phyllis L. Bennett, 79 of 30 County Drive and formerly of Pleasant Street and Messer Street, Laconia, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home, Wednesday March 17, 2004.
She was born April 11, 1924 in Exeter, NH the daughter of the late Hugh L. and Mabel (Rumrill) Dotson. She had been a resident of Laconia since 1973 coming from Loudon Ridge and the Exeter area.
When is lived in Exeter she was employed at the Exeter Handkerchief Company. In the Laconia area she was employed at Wilcom Products for a number of years.
She was a member of The Loudon Ridge Family Bible Church. She enjoyed knitting, shopping, family and video tapes.
Survivors include 2 brothers Lee Dotson of Alaska and Kenneth Dotson of Florida; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Ray Dotson and 2 sisters Winifred Fields and Thelma Bennett.
There are no calling hours.
Services will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, Friday, March 19, 2004 at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Stephen A. Ludwick, pastor of the Loudon Ridge Family Bible Church, Loudon will officiate.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Loudon Ridge Cemetery, Loudon.
