Laconia, NH-----William R. Burns, 69, of 317 Shore Drive, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH.
Mr. Burns was born in Providence, Rhode Island the son of the late Helen and John Burns of Providence, Rhode Island. Mr. Burns was a resident of East Greenwich, Rhode Island. He owned a family business named Phoenix International and employed a number of people from the area.
Mr. Burns is survived by four sons, Michael Burns and Joseph R. Burns both of Laconia, NH and Paul Burns and Gary Burns both of Cranston, Rhode Island; two daughters, Belinda Millette of East Greenwich, RI and Melanie Miller of South Kingston, RI; two sisters, Helen DelVecchio and Beatrice Tanner; and one brother, John Burns. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Valerie J. (Kinloch) Burns.
The Funeral and Burial were private.
