David G. Archibald, Sr.

Gilford, NH-------David G. Archibald, Sr., 63, of 9 Sargent Place, died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia on Thursday, March 4, 2004.

Mr. Archibald was born March 27, 1940 in Weymouth, MA the son of the late Leslie and Ruth (Mahoney) Archibald.

Mr. Archibald had been a resident of the Lakes Region for the past twenty-two years and owned his own construction company.

Survivors include his wife, Jean (Puntiri) Archibald of Gilford; two sons, David G. Archibald, Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Ocean Bluff, MA and Gary J. Archibald and his wife, Gail, of Tilton; a daughter, Lori A. Bordeau and her husband, Jason, of Laconia; seven grandchildren, J. J. Archibald, Joshua Archibald and Jeremy Archibald all of Ocean Bluff, MA; Jacob Bordeau, Mikayla Bordeau both of Laconia and Maegan Archibald and John Archibald both of Tilton, NH; three brothers, William Archibald, Frank Archibald and Richard Archibald all of Weymouth, MA; two sisters, Lois Ambach and Jackie Billings both of Weymouth, MA; and many nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Donald Archibald.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home. 164 Pleasant Street Laconia, NH on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 495 Old Connecticut Path, Suite 220, Framingham MA 01701-4567.
