Laconia---Susan Kingsbury Fritts, 53 formerly of Gilmanton, died at the Belknap County Nursing Home Tuesday, March 16, 2004.
Ms. Fritts was born November 7, 1950 in Cottonwood, AZ, the daughter of Donald L. and Frances (Peel) Kingsbury. She had been a resident of Laconia for the past 9 years coming from Gilmanton.
Ms. Fritts graduated from St. Stephens Episcopal High School in Austin, Texas in 1969 and also graduated from Brown University, Providence, R.I. in 1975. She did her graduate studies at UNH and had written her thesis.
Ms. Fritts had formerly worked in the plant genetics laboratory at Washington State University, Pullman, Washington.
Survivors include her parents Donald and Frances Kingsbury of Laconia and an uncle.
There are no calling hours.
A Memorial Funeral service will be held at the Gilmanton Community Church, Corners Location Saturday March 27, 2004 at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Linda Bolton, pastor of the church will officiate.
Burial will be in Smith Meeting House Cemetery, Gilmanton later this spring.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Belknap County Nursing Home, 30 County Drive, Laconia, NH 03246.
