Kathryn Wallace Glassner

Franklin----Kathryn Wallace Glassner, 90, of Franklin, New Hampshire, died February 28, 2004, at Mountain Ridge Nursing Home.

Born on Dec. 16, 1913, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late William Wallace and Ida Brand Wallace, and the wife of the late Kurt Ernst Glassner.

Surviving are a daughter, Wendy Glassner Hendryx and granddaughter, Katelyn Hendryx, of Gilmanton Iron Works, New Hampshire; a son, Gregory Kurt Glassner and daughter-in-law, Hardy Miles Glassner, both of Brightwood, Virginia; and a sister, Miriam Wallace Holmes, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During her long and full life, Kathryn lived in Milwaukee, Beloit, Racine and Bayside, Wisconsin; Davenport, Iowa; Erie and Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania; Pusan, South Korea; Bloomfield, Connecticut and Franklin, New Hampshire. She traveled extensively in the Unites States, Asia and Europe. Kathryn was a devoted and loving wife and mother, an artist, a civic leader and a volunteer for many charitable groups. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Christian Science Church.

A memorial service will be held at the Gilmanton Community Church, Corners Location, at 1:30 PM, Sunday, March 14, 2004. Rev. Linda B. Bolton, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, NH Chapter, 10 Ferry Street, Suite 427B, Concord, NH 03301.
