Belmont, NH----Gerard Thomas Bolduc, 78, of 57 Seavey Road, Belmont, died at his home on Monday, March 14, 2005 from natural causes. He was born November 9, 1926 in Laconia, the son of Arthur and Leontine (Paquet) Bolduc.
Mr. Bolduc attended Laconia schools and was a Veteran of World War II. He was a Seabee stationed in the Aleutian Islands during the war and received three medals of distinction for his service.
Gerry was a lifelong resident of Laconia and was a Laconia Councilman from Ward 2 from March of 1971 to January 1974. He was a former member and a past president of the Laconia Kiwanis Club, an advisor to the Laconia Key Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus, a Little League coach and volunteered for the Laconia Youth Hockey program. He was an avid golfer.
Mr. Bolduc was employed by the Public Service Company of NH for thirty-five years prior to his retirement.
Gerry was predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Jeanette (Jordan) Bolduc, in June of 2003. Mr. Bolduc is survived by his daughter, Susan Brownlee and her husband, Kenneth, of Clifton Park, NY; his son, Gary, and his wife, Darlene, and son, James, and his wife, Mary, all of Belmont; his grandchildren, Nickole Bolduc, Heather Chisholm, Gerred Bolduc, Bryan Chisholm, and a great-granddaughter, Emily Boissoneault; his brother, Francis, of Laconia and a sister, Lorraine Pelkie, of Florida and many nephews and nieces.
Gerry was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by many.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2005 from 9:00-11:00AM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A memorial service will follow the Calling Hours at 11:00AM also at the Funeral Home.
Spring Burial will be in the family lot at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
