Meredith, NH-----Clifford A. Benoit, Sr., 78, of 128 Livingston Road, died at his home on Saturday, March 5, 2005.
Mr. Benoit was born March 29, 1926 in Lincoln, NH, the son of Harry T. and Laura (Belrose) Benoit. He was a graduate of Franklin High School and served in the U. S. Navy during WWII.
Mr. Benoit lived in Penacook, NH for a few years before moving to Meredith in 1954. He was employed at Scott & Williams, Laconia, for thirty years.
Mr. Benoit enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was an avid softball fan and enjoyed watching his sons, grandchildren and family play.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine (Duquette) Benoit; four sons, Clifford, Steven, Mark and Jason; a daughter, Cynthia Kimball; seven grandchildren, David & Kelly Kimball, Forrest and Clinton Benoit, Meagan Benoit, Nadia Benoit and Hailie Bessonett; four brothers, Lester, Harry, Jack and George; four sisters, Rena Preve, Pearl Preve, Marion Lemeris and Corine Keyser; and many nieces and nieces.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 11, 2005 from 4:00-6:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH. Following the calling hours at 6:00PM, a Funeral Service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Rte 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
