Laconia-----Dorothy D. Jordan, 86, of 7 Church Street, died at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon on Wednesday, March 16, 2005.
Mrs. Jordan was born June 22, 1918 in Gilford, N.H., the daughter of Leland and Ella (Fisher) Dockham. She was a lifetime resident of the Laconia/Gilford area. Mrs. Jordan was employed at J. J. Newberry's for several years and was also employed at the Margate.
Mrs. Jordan loved her family, especially her great grandchildren. She was always willing to help out her neighbors in the Stafford House.
Survivors include a son, Robert W. Jordan, of Mesa, AZ; four grandchildren, R. Scott Jordan of Lebanon, NH, Kathleen Stacy and Jennifer Kahn, both of Mesa, AZ and Angel Constance of Buckeye, AZ and seven great grandchildren.
According to Mrs. Jordan's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Burial will be in Mesa, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sunshine Acres Children's Home, North Higley Road, Mesa, Arizona 85215.
