Laconia----Leander C. Fleck, 59, of 736 Union Ave. died at his home March 16, 2006. He was born July 27, 1946 in Laconia, the son of Leander W. and Mearl (Peavey) Fleck. He was a life long resident of the Lakes Region.
Mr. Fleck had been employed at Laconia Shoe, Scott & Williams and Aavid Thermalloy LLC.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick “Timmy” Fleck of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Thomas C. Fleck, of Minnesota; a daughter Kristie Fleck of Denver, CO.; 2 grandchildren; 3 brothers Harry J. Fleck of Franklin, Charles E. Fleck and Dennis R. Fleck both of Laconia; 3 sisters Betty L. Stebbins, Anna Fleck and Waunita M. Gould all of Laconia; aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Beside his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Rose Marie Fleck in 1984.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday March 21, from 6-8PM at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home 164 Pleasant Street Laconia using the Carriage House entrance. According to his wishes there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society POBox 572 Laconia, NH 03247.
The Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home & Cremation Services will be in charge of the arrangements.
