Laconia, NH-----Antricoula “Pauline” Herrin, 85, of 635 Benton Drive, died at her home on Wednesday, March 28, 2007.  She was the widow of Leland C. Herrin who died in 1995.

Pauline was born January 20, 1922 in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of George and Dorothy (Crombas) Vekos.  She lived in Wilmington, MA for 30 years before moving to Laconia several years ago.  Pauline enjoyed her family and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Irene G. Herrin, of Laconia; a brother, Christos Vekos, of Falmouth, MA; two grandchildren, Lee Ann Scannell and her husband John of Meredith, NH and Matthew Lopez of Deerfield, NH; two great-grandchildren, Rachel Scannell and Allison Scannell both of Meredith, NH and several nieces and a nephew.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Nickolas Vekos and two sisters, Bertha Kelley and Edith Backman.

There will be no calling hours.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 11:00AM at the Wildwood Cemetery, Middlesex Avenue, Wilmington, MA, 01887.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association of NH, 9 Cedarwood Drive Unit #12, Bedford, NH, 03110.
