Donald E. Kent

Sanbornton----Donald E. Kent, 92, of Sanbornton, NH and formerly of Quincy and Weymouth, Mass., died March 2, 2010.

Donald was born in Dorchester, Mass., the son of the late Horace and Maizie (Wilson) Kent. 

Donald was a loving husband to his wife of sixty-eight years, Miriam E. (Hanson) Kent , of Sanbornton, N.H.; a loving father to his sons, Douglas of Weymouth, Mass. and David and his wife, Pearl, of Sanbornton, N.H.,  Jeffrey and his wife, Margaret “Meg”, of Weymouth, Mass. and his daughter, Nancy Cotter, and her husband, Edward “Ted”, of Weymouth, Mass. and a loving grandfather to his two granddaughters, Kristin Cotter of East Boston, Mass. and Emily Kent of Weymouth, Mass.  Donald is also survived by his brother, Roger W. Kent, of Weymouth, Mass. as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, March 13, 2010, at 11:00AM at the Laconia Congregational Church, 69 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H. Rev. Dr. Warren H. Bouton, Pastor of the Church, will officiate.

  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Dorcas Fund, Laconia Congregational Church, 18 Veterans Square, Laconia, NH 03246 or to the Crotched Mountain Foundation, One Verney Drive, Greenfield, NH 03047.
