Zachary Michael Sherkanowski

Moultonborough-----Zachary Michael Sherkanowski, 24, of Moultonborough, N.H. passed away in a fatal automobile accident.

Zack was born May 25, 1985 in Laconia, N.H., the beloved son of John & Meredith (Raymond) Sherkanowski.

Zack graduated with honors from Moultonborough Academy, Class of 2003, and was involved in soccer, running track and basketball. He worked with his father and brother in a family boating business and was a chef at the Village Kitchen in Moultonborough. He loved to cook, the outdoors, snowboarding, skateboarding, jet skiing, boating, being on the lake, playing his guitar, his music, hiking, being on the top of the mountain and being with his beautiful daughter, Sadey, who was the love of his life.

Life will never be the same without Zachary. He was such a wonderful, caring and funny kid. He loved to make people laugh and was a kid at heart. His favorite holiday was Christmas. We love him so much; we can’t go on without him, our darling boy.

Zack loved his family. He will be missed so much by his loving brother and best friend, Nathan Sherkanowski, and his wife, Jessica, of New Hampton, N.H. ; by his daughter, Sadey Sherkanowski, who will miss her daddy so much; his parents, John & Meredith Sherkanowski, of Moultonborough; his grandparents, John & Helen Sherkanowski, of Moultonborough; his aunts and uncles, David Raymond and Dean and Suzane Raymond, all of Lynn, Mass., Chris and Heidi Sherkanowski of Gilford and Steven and Lauren Sherkanowski of Bedford, N. H.; his nephews, Daniel and Damien,; his cousins and his many friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, William & Marion Raymond, and by his great-grandmother, Mary Knapic.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 4:00-7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N. H.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 11:30AM at the Moultonborough United Methodist Church, 1018 Whittier Highway, Rte 25, Moultonborough, N. H. 03254. Rev. Edward Charest will officiate.

Private family burial will follow in Shannon Cemetery, Rte. 109, Moultonborough, N.H.
