Pearce-Sunsites, AZ———-Thomas N. “Tom” Saunders, 65, of 1205 E. Klassen Ct, Pearce, AZ 85625 and formerly of Laconia, NH died in Sunsites, AZ on April 25, 2002.
Mr. Saunders was born in Laconia, NH on November 14, 1936. the son of Coleman and Edna (Noyes) Saunders. He was a long time resident of Laconia and worked for many years as a lineman for Public Service Co. of New Hampshire. He served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the Wilkins-Smith
Post #1 American Legion.
Mr. Saunders was very active in the Laconia Little League for many years. While in Sunsites, AZ, he was an active volunteer in the community.
Survivors include his wife, Rita (Chandronait) Saunders of Sunsites, AZ; daughters Linda Goodwin and her husband, Jay Goodwin, of Lakeport, NH, Michele Dixey and her husband, Roger Dixey of Laconia, NH, and Laurie Martinez and her husband, Sean Martinez, of Massachusetts; and Carla Percy of
Maryland; sons, Tom Saunders and his wife, Dawn Saunders, of Florida; Tim Saunders and his wife, Karen Saunders, of Gilford, NH; and Erick Saunders and his wife, Heidi Saunders, and Wayne Percy all of Laconia and 14 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH on Saturday, June 1, 2002 at 1:00 PM.
