Laconia——- Graveside services for Clinton O. Stevens, 82, formerly of 32 Davis Place, will be held Thursday, May 23, 2002 at 11:00 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laconia. Mr. Stevens died at the Lakes Region General Hospital, February 15, 2002.
Mr. Stevens worked for Capitol Distributors for many years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Laconia.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Dorothy (Decelles) Stevens, of Laconia; two sons, Richard C. Stevens of San Jose, CA and Paul J. Stevens of Hooksett, NH; three daughters, Marie D. Marceau and Rosemary Drake, both of Laconia, NH and Madeleine C. DeCoster of New Hampton, NH; 7 grandchildren, Matthew J. Drake of Vermont, Jeffrey D. Marceau of Laconia, NH, Amy Louise Lasser of Illinois, Chad L. Marceau of Laconia, NH, Andrea L. DeCoster of Vermont, Jennifer L. Stevens and Meghan D. Stevens both of Hooksett, NH; two great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a sister, Martha Stevens.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal Street, Manchester, NH 03101 or the American Heart Association, New England Affiliate, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
Wilkinson-Beane Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, is in charge of the arrangements.
