Belmont——-Elwood R. Burrows, 69, of 429 Brown Hill Road, died at the Lakes Region
General Hospital on Sunday, May 12, 2002.
Mr. Burrows was born May 29, 1932 in Woodstock, NH, the son of Clarence E. and Iona
(Nichols) Burrows.
Mr. Burrows served in the U.S. Air Force. He resided in the Meredith & Moultonboro
area for many years before moving to Belmont thirty years ago.
He was a nurse at the Laconia State School and Training Center for thirty years.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Barbara Burrows of Woodstock, NH, an uncle,
Bob Nichols of Meredith, NH, a friend and companion, Alfred Wentworth of
Belmont, NH and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother,
Wally Burrows.
There will be no calling hours or funeral service.
